Professional Email Setup Guide for Your Domain
A domain-based email address can provide a more professional identity for a business. This guide explains the basic setup process.
Create the Mailbox
Open the hosting control panel's email section, create the address, choose a strong password and configure storage limits where available.
Configure DNS
Mail delivery depends on correct DNS records, especially MX records. SPF, DKIM and DMARC can improve authentication and deliverability when configured correctly.
Connect an Email App
Use the provider's recommended IMAP and SMTP settings. Prefer encrypted connections and keep the full email address as the username when required.
Troubleshooting
Check DNS, mailbox credentials, server names, ports, encryption settings and spam filtering when messages fail to send or receive.
